Hipster Invitations

For the first ever Etsy Friday (my new Friday column featuring great finds from artists and retailers on the "Etsy-your place to buy and sell all things handmade" ecommerce community), I'm going to gush about Leslie Hamer's custom couple portraits.

Check out Leslie's shop Unlesssomeonelikeyou for a handful of examples and information on where to send your photo of choice. USLY offers poster-style (11X17) wedding invitations as well as save-the-date designs (not to mention, pet and baby portraits perfect for hip moms).

Throwing a Loft wedding? Getting hitched at The Foundry or Dumbo's Smack Mellon? Set an Indie-rockstar tone with save-the-dates that would impress even the most jaded design-geek in your life. Best of all, this art comes with a great price tag, designs range from $85-$150. After receiving your photo, USLY will create digital copies in whatever format you wish to receive it in; from there, take your design to a local printer (this can really keep the altogether-price low). If you're in the NYC area, I highly recommend printing with Michael at Duplications Unlimited
