Birthday Brunch Invitations

This month has been a hectic month of moving and birthday brunch planning! Now that I'm settled in and the tastings have begun (more on that soon!!!)... I want to share some of my design work for my Birthday Brunch at Bouchon Cafe (Yes, another Keller-Restaurant Event!).

I must be one of Chef Keller's biggest fan because not only am I planning my 28th Birthday Brunch at his casual NYC restaurant, my event design is also inspired by another one of his restaurants in Yountville - Ad Hoc. I just love how the menu is presented in manila file folders (see below) and the restaurant's logo mimics your typical office label designs (how divine?). I wanted to translate those little touches into a playful Fall-brunch design. I picked kraft paper-tan and red as my main colors and gave the design a little back-to-school twist since growing-up, I always had my birthday parties to look forward to around that dreaded "back-to-school" time of the year.

With the help of Nicole of Pink Design, who designed three gorgeous monograms for me, I created my email-Save-The-Dates, formal Invitations and my Zazzle Stamp! It's my office-postal-back-to-school Birthday Brunch look - tell me what you think and stay tuned for more fabulous brunch planning details like favor ideas and menu design!
