Wedding Salon Event

What recession? From the looks of it, wedding trends (at least according to the vendors at The Wedding Salon's NYC event last week) is all about glitz and glam. From glittering table settings (gold and cream) from Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts to Tantawan Bloom's fabulously lush tropical design, nothing is too over-the-top. Models walked around with gleaming hair pieces brimming with features and regal letterpress invitation suites are adorned with laser-cut bands (as if letterpress is not a luxury in and of itself!); by the way, the gorgeous ones featured here are from Ceci New York.

Overall, it was a great event with mini cupcake samples and an appearance of Mrs. Peters of Colette Cakes for her book signing (it was such an honor to have met Colette!).
